All for one and one for all!
I attended an interesting seminar on Sport Psychology. Do not really know the sport, and I say that it was a great discovery.
I have observed that working with sports groups is very similar to the one I lead with groups school, but above is not dissimilar from the work of psychotherapy can be done with a single individual.
groups operate as one mind and have their own personality. Model and are organized in a very specific character, meet the needs and are unlikely to disappoint the expectations of the participants report together. It is not a simple sum of individuals.
What has emerged from the workshop is that the success in performance - a race or training - Depends on many variables, including the aspect of self plays an important role.
A person approaches a path psychotherapy usually when it senses a discrepancy between, to put it briefly, the idea of \u200b\u200bself, the expectations on himself and has the capacity to act effectively according to that idea himself. When you create this detachment you live your identity with a sense of unease that can invest in more areas of everyday life.
in sports performance is something similar, and similarly the motivation will work towards re-balance their expectations of success. Inevitably, the work will bring upon themselves also benefits the dynamics of the whole group, starting with the fact that the new self-awareness will lead to a new view of the parent group and hence the choice to continue to adhere, or not, the usual rules.
