The last hurdle ...... Vip
. The time of the Lisbon Treaty is "almost over". Almost curb because Europe has remained one last hurdle: the President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus. Klaus - always Eurosceptic - he had hoped that negated a second Irish referendum rejection of their support for the Treaty of Lisbon (EU Constitution surrogate sank in 2006) but, fortunately, this has not happened.
The anti-Lisbon last card played by the Czech President has remained a calusola waiver of the Charter of Fundamental Rights, which - already granted to Polish and English - is now required by the Czech Republic Will the EU to overcome this obstacle?
