European traveler: "Trogir - Split - Primosten - Salona - Krka - Part Fourth

last stage of my short trip to the Croatian National Park Krka Krka River is located under the waterfall and stream flows through the plain Krcic Knin entering a long Kanyon 50km (200m deep in some points) to form a series of waterfalls and lakes. The waterfall and a visit is the longest Skradinski buk (Scardona). This is made up of barriers travertine from islands and lakes and can be visited through a network of paths and bridges that provide a pleasant walk.

The show waiting for me coming up to the waterfall Scardona is priceless. Tourists of all nationalities, swimming in the river and the spectacular shower of water drunk looks the same. I shoot a go-go to make sure that what I'm seeing is the concrete reality and not simply a figment of my imagination. Fortunately it's all true and, taking advantage of the surrounding plains, I make my towel to steal some sunshine and relax surrounded by the magic of the National Park Krka Krka

But not only waterfalls. Krka is so much more! It 's the home of one of the most important cultural and natural treasures of Croatia: the island of Visovac. From 1445 on this island is the Franciscan Monastery of the Mother of mercy and the Church of Our Lady of Vissovaz which together with the beautiful panorama of Lake Vissovaz the surrounding environment is a complex one. Given his exceptional spiritual value, it looks Vissovaz has attracted many pilgrims who come to the island even today with modern pilgrimages, using vessels of the National Park Krka. Unfortunately

with a visit to Krka, Croatia can say my trip finally concluded. Ten more hours of travel on the boat of Blueline (during which I can not wink) and again in Ancona. On the next trip!

Diary of a European traveler, "Trogir - Split - Primosten - Salona - Krka - Part Three

After Primosten, it was the turn of Split, a city known especially for the Diocletian's Palace, the Golden Gate and the Cathedral with its famous bell tower. Diocletian's Palace, is one of the best preserved Roman monuments in the world. Cotruito between 295 and 305, is divided into four parts by two main streets, the southern part of the building was planned for the emperor and his rooms, and residences for the northern part of the retinue of servants, the body of guard and the like. Diocletian's palace is a prime example of architectural trends in the Age of Diocletian marked by a conservative tendencies, as well as in the Baths of Diocletian in Rome, setting similar to those of Caracalla.

But Split is not only monuments but also life, entertainment and much more. The promenade is decorated with a series of tall palm trees intended to form a picture-frame and all around, many local restaurants to give people coming and going of day and night pass without stopping. Given the great heat I decided to stop in one of the premises for a drink in peace and enjoy the wonderful view that "Split" give me. The night, then, musicians and street performers enliven the evenings with music by Split and various attractions that offer an enchanting atmosphere.

The next day, with images of Split still imprinted in my mind, I decided to give me a bit 'of culture with a visit to the ruins of Salona (Croatian Solin). Salona was under the Roman Empire, the capital of Dalmatia and the birthplace of the Roman emperor Diocletian. After many photos of the archaeological site, I go for a bit 'of solace on the beaches of Primosten where, with great joy, a great tasting strawberry ice cream and lemon.

Diary of a European traveler," Trogir - Split - Primosten - Salona - Krka - Part Two

After an afternoon of sun and sea I decided to do a little 'night-life is healthy. I'll be back in Trogir - packed with people - and I shot a Mojito from "Father", a small club house with music full of tourists of all nationalities. The atmosphere is nice but I see that now with the approach of midnight, the promenade of Trogir by beautiful princess turns into a pumpkin empty bustle of morning, afternoon and evening daily. It was only later find out that the night-life in Trogir continues beyond the two bridges that divide the two islands on which the city stands with clubs open till late (eg Disco Club Monaco - not a little to the truth). Anyway I go to sleep because tomorrow, like a script improvised, it's time for Primosten.

Primosten is situated between the towns of Sibenik and Trogir is a town very popular for the beautiful beaches of pebbles and sand and for the opportunity to take peaceful walks punctuated by breathtaking views. Also, for those looking for fun - Primosten offers, in its immediate vicinity, a place well known. Issue of "The Aurora Club site a km before the entrance to Primosten. Between the sea and walking time flies and the time to go back in Seget-Vranjica comes in a flash.

Diary of a European traveler: "Trogir - Split - Primosten - Salona - Krka - Part One

A new summer, a new holiday. It 's the time in Croatia to me so close geographically, but until a week ago, never visited. The means chosen is a ship of the company Blueline. For the way I can get a cab while for the return, there is only the availability for a deck. Departure from the port of Ancona at 20.30 for a voyage that will find its happy ending at 7.30 am. Are on time and just landed, I headed to the bus station to head to Trogir. The reason for this shift is an existing reservation to 'hostel "Croatia" site a few kilometers from the area of \u200b\u200bTrogir-Seget Vranjica. In half an hour to reach Venice Croatian amazes me instantly with its beauty and intimacy. Unfortunately I have to postpone the visit of the same to take another bus to reach the hostel. A little 'waiting and here we are.

The accommodation is not bad. Place quiet a few tens of meters from a little-used beach and halfway between the near Trogir and Primosten: another well-known seaside resort. I eat something on the fly and went to lie down like a sea lion in the nearby beach. A couple of hours of sleep and a bit 'of sun, it took its own. Riposatomi I was immediately clear that without a means of transport can not go anywhere. The luck that sometimes goes on vacation, this time assisting me in the form of a nearby tourist information office where I can easily rent a car (Opel Corsa to be precise). Powered happy and I head to Trogir in the beautiful sunset to enjoy a wonderful view and dine at one of the many restaurants on the waterfront just full of Yacht moored. I pay about 80 kuna - little more than 10euro - a complete meal consisting of steak grilled with mustard, French fries and birrozzo 0.50: what a show! After an ice cream kiwii I return to the hostel: tomorrow morning I will come back to Trogir to visit the place it deserves.

The next day I wake up at a good pace and I put myself in a tourist holding hat with compact digital and explore the beauty of Venice to Croatia. The thing that strikes me most is the old town where the outstanding Romanesque Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Church of St. Nicholas and the Clock Tower. Taking many pictures and I notice a pleasant surprise: the area is covered by wi-fi and with the help my nokia E-63 I can check my mail without lifting a kuna. In late morning again I find comfort in one of the local promenade where I drink an iced tea to combat hot and muggy. From there, taking pictures to capture the nearby Castle of Camerlengo and I return to the hostel. Afternoon beach a go go!
